I wait for my dreams to come true

“I wait for my dreams to come true…”

Waiting is considered a passive type of action. Well, they did say that “no action” is a form of “action” too IF that was your intention. Otherwise, the lack of action is as good as failure to respond appropriately to the situation at hand.

But the onlookers will probably panic and yell at you every second “Come on, do something!” It does make one wonders if they really meant “Come on, do something that I expect to see! Something that I can understand! Something that makes me at ease!”.

So, what say you to “waiting”?

Let’s ask our 3 Senseis.

1. Self Improvement Sensei
Well, I really love NLP to muster all that motivation for action, then draw out some plans and actions. Upsize, supersize or rightsize (Singapore HDB phrase for downgrade?) the goals. Add alarm clock tag to everything.

Bath in emotions (be it good or bad) that nudge you into actions and anchor them to any part of your body so when you pump or thump on it switches on the go emotion.

Constantly review your goals and life purpose to continue that shower of emotion fuel to keep you going. Eat more books about motivation and success story of others to gain more fuel to move move move. Do the known-to-work operations, marketing and admin stuffs.

Self Sensei says NO MORE WAITING. Pump yourself up and it’s time to get what you want! Rawr!

Verdict: I wait… NO MORE. Charge headfirst into MESSIVE  MASSIVE action! Success or not, no such thing, only more review of what to upsize or rightsize until target is utterly destroyed achieved. Who cares about traffic lights.

2. Metaphysics Sensei
You got your time of birth right? Else Meta Sensei might not be able to help you. Ok, you really don’t have your time of birth. Meta Sensei slaps his forehead and says okayyy. No choice, it’s time to use techniques B and C. And maybe D.

OH my birth cert and my neighbor knows my time of birth after all! So Meta Sensei can now use technique A!

So Tech A is birthday reading that uses you as the focal point. From your birthday, Meta Sensei concludes that sure, this dream is possible. But this is a bad year to kick start new things. Then you told Meta Sensei next year is too late. You gotta start this somehow this year. Bummer.

Ok, so Meta Sensei says he can help you by looking at your house first to ensure your house is not sabotaging your luck in this area. Tech B done. Focal point on your immediate environment which you spend a lot of time in, that is, your house.

Then you break the news to Meta Sensei that you want to start this month. Meta Sensei frown and took out Tech C. Is it one of those Ki Men rider thingy you ask. Meta Sensei didn’t understand your english chinese and just tells you that the focal point is now on the calendar and the type of actions that are likely to get the best results each day, each hour frame. We have reached the stage where we totally just heck it with what your birthday says. And remember to do the usual normal operations, marketing and admin work.

Then you say YAY. Then Meta Sensei had to remind you that a discount applies since you started in a challenging year anyway.

Verdict: I wait for my dreams… Yes, wait if you can. Go with the calendar. Else expect discounts.

3. Buddhism Sensei
Budd Sensei says, all the deeds you did in the past will decide your success today. But Sensei, I have this dream I want to fulfill. Budd Sensei says yes, then apply Newton’s 3rd Law on global and far reaching scale, if you want your biz to do well, then hope that others biz do well too. If you don’t want people to cut your prices, you will not cut their prices too. If you want others to be happy with your service, you shall be happy with other’s service (even if they suck have mega loads of rooms for improvement).

The Newton’s 3rd Law portion is mentioned for your awareness of what your actions will lead to. When you perform the actions, it shall be based on the kind intention projected outwards truly wanting the other party to benefit and not because you expect the resultant 3rd Law results. If you do kind acts based on expecting what 3rd Law outcomes you should be entitled to, then you are projecting your kind intention inwards. Which means you have not given a proper action reaction “push” outside. How would you expect the actual 3rd Law to “push” you back with the same goodies?

Budd Sensei, I have done what you said but nothing happens. Biz still slow even though I patronize others as a well intentioned customer. Budd sensei says yeah, the good returns are still in queue so you might not see the effect yet. You can wait but you’ll probably starve and you’ll also waste the waiting time sitting around not generating any good.

So, remember to do the norms too like operations, marketing and admin, while, continue doing good unto others that you want others done unto you. Oh yeah Sensei, I forgot to work on the norm.

Verdict: I wait for my dreams… You can indeed wait and success is GUARANTEED if you had contributed to the success of others. But, always spend some time generating good while waiting for the success so future successes becomes a consecutive string of events and you don’t have to sit through so much waiting time like today.
